Finally this year is about to come to an end! It was indeed a tough,tiring,emotional and happy year.
I have also accomplished a few things that I never imagined that I will accomplish. I now know that the sky is NOT the limit and I have taught myself to ALWAYS ALWAYS get my own because life is about you yourself and your own hustle.
This year has truly been a year of great blessings galore and now I pause to look at all the blessings that my God has blessed me with, like being one of the cover ladies in the most prominent magazine ever Destiny Magazine ,boy I NEVER thought i would ever make it to that magazine It was truly a dream come true and I will forever cherish that day and it will forever be a constant reminder as to why I should work hard every day!. And also recently, I have been chosen to be one of the brand ambassadors to a salon name Chique Beauty...totally unexpected, there is going to be a whole lot exciting stuff that are going to happen, going to have a mini online show where we get to interview female entrepreneurs and inspire aspiring entrepreneurs out there. 2011 you have been a phenomenal year and it can only be God.s grace. I have learnt a lot about life and as I was doing that i watched myself grow as an individual. Learnt to not look at the girl on the left nor on my right and solely focus on me because I am who I am and I will never wake up the next day and be someone else. Learnt that mirror reflects your face but association reflects who you are. Learnt that God resists the proud and graces the humble. Learnt to talk a little and hear much. Learnt that I don’t have to stop working hard thinking that no one is watching....somewhere someone is always watching. Also learnt to not camp at my own losses. And lastly I learnt to embrace struggle....continued to stay happy despite my situations. As Maya Angelou would put it: “Be present in all things and thankful for all things”.
I pray for a much more stronger year next year with lots and lots of blessings
